To help keep your puppy from chewing on the carpet and furniture, be sure he has his own rubber toys. On furniture (table, chair legs, etc.) that he is chewing on, try putting a little oil of cloves on the wood. The odor should keep him away, if not, the bitter taste will.

Valerie and Barry have adored pets from childhood to where they are today. A successful business in the animal field and showing and breeding standard poodles is a passion for Valerie.

  • December 1997 - Graduated from the Career Academy - Graduated with Honors and received an Award of Excellence
  • 1998 - Dog Groomer for Pam's Pet Parlour in CBS
  • August 1998 - bought Pam's Pet Parlour and renamed it Pet's Day Out. Operated this successful business for 5 years and bred toy poodles
  • October 2003 bought Topsailstar Pet Center
  • Breeder of CKC champion standard poodles
  • Volunteer with the St. John Ambulance Dog Therapy Program

  • Worked side by side with Valerie at Pet's Day Out
